Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park

Establishment Purpose

To promote biotechnology industries as a national priority and encourage regional development of biomedical technology, the Ministry of the Interior approved the "Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park Urban Plan" on January 4, 2003. This initiative supports innovative R&D and the commercialization of results.

Basic Information

Key Advantages

The park leverages its proximity to Hsinchu Science Park, National Tsing Hua University, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. It integrates academic research, clinical practice, and manufacturing to form a complete biomedical R&D ecosystem.

Future Vision

With plans to expand the biomedical corridor in Northern Taiwan, the Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park will focus on advanced medical technologies, precision medicine, and international collaboration, driving Taiwan toward global biomedical leadership.
