Hsinchu County SME Honorary Advisors (Enterprise Service Volunteers) Association

1. Purpose: SME Honorary Advisors are successful entrepreneurs with a passion for service and a commitment to giving back to their community. They serve as a bridge between small and medium enterprises and government agencies, promoting positive interaction on both sides.

2. Composition: The Association comprises current Honorary Advisors selected and appointed by the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, who reside, work, or conduct business in Hsinchu County.

3. Member Obligations:

Attend mandatory monthly or quarterly seminars and special events as needed.
Respect and learn from each other’s insights and feedback at every event.
Abide by the Association’s bylaws, resolutions, and pay membership dues.

4. Organizational Structure:

The Association elects one President, one Secretary-General, one Treasurer, and up to four Vice Presidents. The President and Treasurer are chosen by the membership assembly for one-year terms, renewable once. Vice Presidents and the Secretary-General are appointed by the President with assembly approval.
Regular training sessions are held to build consensus and foster mutual benefit among Advisors.
Experts and scholars are engaged to guide activities and support Association operations.

5. Services: The SME Honorary Advisors provide:

On-site visits to local SMEs for experience exchange, including business visits and participation in cross-industry networking events or entrepreneur gatherings.
Attendance at SME-related seminars such as policy briefings, business workshops, award presentations, model enterprise tours, and support system showcases.
Participation in local chamber of commerce activities, such as SMEs Days and regional business networking events.
Dissemination of government support measures, assisting enterprises to leverage resources like service guides, financing guides, low-interest loan programs, and consumer protection guidelines.
Monitoring local business trends and relaying feedback to inform government policy-making.

6. Service Guidelines:

Advisors must wear identification badges during service to ensure clear recognition by visited enterprises.
As this role is a high honor, Advisors should uphold the Association’s reputation by fulfilling their service responsibilities professionally.

7. Expected Benefits:

Proactively utilize and coordinate central and local government resources to enhance Association operations and Advisor support capabilities.
Foster mutual understanding and collaboration among members to address business challenges and promote industry development.

8. Future Goals:

Provide case-based guidance to help local enterprises improve management performance.
Leverage information gathered to maximize resource synergy.
Actively participate in peer association activities to gain best practices and build strong networks.
