SME Service Center
Background
In accordance with Article 24 of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Act, the Hsinchu County Government designated the establishment of the “Hsinchu County SME Service Center” on October 5, 1992 (Document No. 20467) to officially begin operation on October 15, 1992.
Purpose
To support small and medium enterprises in improving their operating environment, promoting collaboration, and assisting them in achieving independent growth to foster their sound development.
Services Provided
Disseminate government policies and support measures; provide relevant information
Organize seminars, training sessions, workshops, or observation activities related to production technology, business management, financial support, and information systems
Accept and refer SME support applications to appropriate guidance systems
Appoint experts to regularly serve at the center to offer guidance and consultation
Maintain contact with SMEs to assess operational status and service needs
Execute government-assigned tasks and assist relevant agencies in handling SME-related matters
